Lola Mei Ellis is a director and cinematographer based in NYC. She is currently attending Boston College, where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and Political Science.
Ellis has directed, shot, and produced award-winning short films that have showcased at film festivals nationally. In 2024, she received Boston Globe’s Inaugural GlobeDocs Emerging Filmmaker Award.
She is currently in principal photography on her upcoming film, Velvet.
